I was looking for inspiration to do a series for the seminar room at the back of the 'lil Bean N Green Cafe in Leslieville, Toronto. (http://www.lilbeanandgreen.com/). I had a vision to create large funky flowers, and while searching for inspiration, I discovered these flowers on the cute blog entitled "Rack and Mooby"
My twist on these fabulous flowers included one large aqua flower and three smaller flowers in aqua, yellow, green and red.

And to finish off the room, I couldn't resist adding in a few paintings of roses.

I love the way they turned out! ANd the colors are fabulous! Sadly, our flowers are now gone as I painted over them last fall (I guess kids have to grow up and change their tastes at some point, huh? LOL). Great job on yours and thank you for the link back. :)
